iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition: Key Specifications Leak, Likely to Feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

The iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition is expected to be released later this year as an addition to the iQoo Neo 9 lineup, which was introduced in China in December last year. Along with the iQoo Neo 9 and iQoo Neo 9 Pro, the Racing Edition is anticipated to offer new features. According to a tipster, the Racing Edition may come equipped with the same chipset as the Realme GT Neo 6.

Rumors suggest that the iQoo Neo 9 Racing Edition will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate. The 8T LTPO technology is expected to enhance power efficiency, leading to improved battery performance.

The Racing Edition could be powered by a chipset codenamed SM8635, believed to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It is likely to sport a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor for ultrawide shots, similar to the base iQoo Neo 9 model. Reports suggest that the phone may launch in April, with more details expected to be revealed closer to the launch date.

The iQoo Neo 9 features a 6.78-inch 144Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, a 16-megapixel front camera, and runs on Android 14-based OriginOS. It is powered by a 5,160mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.
