Upcoming Releases: Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 Set to Launch in March

According to a recent report, Microsoft may unveil the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 later this month. These new PCs are rumored to be the tech giant’s first AI-powered devices, set to be compatible with the AI features expected to be introduced in Windows 11. The devices are expected to be equipped with Intel’s latest 14th-generation and Qualcomm X series chipsets, as well as a next-gen neural processing unit (NPU).

Sources cited in the report from Windows Central suggest that the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 could be launched on March 21. These AI PCs may come with new Intel Core Ultra and Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite-based chips, offering both Intel and Arm processor options for the Surface Laptop for the first time.

While specific details about the upcoming laptops are limited, the report highlights some key specifications. The Surface Pro 10 is rumored to feature an anti-reflective OLED panel with HDR support, a new webcam with ultrawide sensor, AI Studio Effects, and an NFC reader. The design is expected to be similar to its predecessor.

On the other hand, the Surface Laptop 6 may feature thinner bezels with rounded corners for the display, a new haptic touchpad, and a Copilot key introduced by Microsoft for Windows laptops. The device is also likely to include new ports such as two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port, with the Surface Connect charger placed on the right side.

Both devices are anticipated to offer improved battery life and performance. The Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are expected to be released in two stages, with the Intel chip-powered models arriving in April and the Arm models following in June.
