Realme 12X 5G, which was recently introduced in China, is now set to launch in India. The smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. Realme has confirmed the launch date for the Indian market and shared some key features of the device. While there will be some variations between the Chinese and Indian variants, the overall design resembles the global version of the Realme 12X 5G.
The Realme 12X 5G is scheduled to debut in India on April 2 at 12pm IST. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the Realme India website, offering green and purple color options. The phone sports the signature large circular rear camera module seen in recent Realme 12 series smartphones.
In India, the Realme 12X 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired SuperVOOC charging, capable of charging the device from zero to 50 percent in under 30 minutes. The phone will also feature the Dynamic Button feature, which acts as a shortcut for various functions like Airplane and DND modes, camera shutter, and more. Additionally, Air Gestures functionality, as seen in the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G, will be included.
The Chinese variant of the Realme 12X 5G boasts a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup with an LED flash, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0, with the base 12GB + 256GB variant priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,000), while the 12GB + 512GB option is available for CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 20,000).
