Honor Magic Flip Render Revealed Online; Unveils Spacious Cover Display and Twin Rear Camera Setup

Honor is reportedly working on its first clamshell foldable phone called the Honor Magic Flip. Leaks have emerged following the recent launch of the Honor Magic 6 series and Magic V2 family at the Mobile World Congress 2024. An alleged render of the Honor Magic Flip has surfaced online, showing a black device with a large cover display akin to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, sporting a vertical dual rear camera setup and a vegan leather finish on the rear panel.

According to tipster Guan, who shared the leaked render, the alleged Honor Magic Flip features power and volume buttons on the right-hand side, with the power button expected to double as a fingerprint scanner. Honor has long been rumored to enter the flip foldable smartphone market, with the first clamshell foldable device previously speculated to launch in the first half of this year. The brand has now confirmed that the flip phone, along with a smart ring, will be released later this year; however, details about the device are scarce other than a rumored 4,500mAh battery.

Honor’s current lineup includes bookstyle foldable phones such as Honor Magic VS, Honor Magic V2, and Honor Magic V. The upcoming Honor Magic Flip is expected to compete against devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, Oppo Find N2 Flip, and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G.
