Samsung has introduced the Galaxy M55 5G in Brazil, alongside the Galaxy M15 5G. The Galaxy M55 5G runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 and boasts an AMOLED display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and comes with a 5,000mAh battery. Both the Galaxy M15 5G and M55 5G feature 50-megapixel triple rear cameras. The Galaxy M15 5G seems to be similar to the Galaxy F15 5G launched in India.
The Galaxy M15 5G starts at BRL 1,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the Galaxy M55 5G is priced at BRL 3,199 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The Galaxy M55 5G is anticipated to be available in other markets soon.
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It houses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, 4GB of RAM, and a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It features a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Both phones are promised five years of security updates and up to four years of OS upgrades.
