The model number “2404” alludes to a potential April 2024 launch date, whereas the letters “G” and “I” at the end signify global and Indian variants respectively. It is speculated that this device could be none other than the Redmi A3x. Reports further suggest that the Redmi A3x is likely to come with some modifications compared to the previously released Redmi A3 model.
Another report from MySmartPrice points out that a Redmi smartphone with the model number “24048RN6CI” was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) certification site, hinting at an imminent launch in India. These reports have stirred up excitement among tech enthusiasts, who are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Redmi A3x in the Indian market.
