“Aadujeevitham The Goat Life Box Office Collection Day 7: Prithviraj Sukumaran Film Rakes in ₹43 Crore in India During First Week”

Aadujeevitham, also known as The Goat Life, directed by Blessy and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has shown a slight decline in its box office performance in the domestic market. According to a report on Sacnilk.com, the film managed to earn around ₹3.75 crore in India on Wednesday, marking its lowest collection for a single day since its release on March 28. The movie has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.

In its opening week, Aadujeevitham raked in approximately ₹43.85 crore nett at the Indian box office. On the first day of its release, the film collected ₹7.6 crore nett across all languages, followed by ₹6.25 crore nett on day 2. Subsequently, on day 3, day 4, day 5, and day 6, the movie garnered amounts of ₹7.75 crore, ₹8.7 crore, ₹5.4 crore, and ₹4.4 crore, respectively.

Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life revolves around Prithviraj’s character, with notable performances by actors like Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, KR Gokul, Talib al Balushi, and RikAby. Adapted from Benyamin’s novel “Goat Days,” the film portrays the true story of Najeeb, a man hailing from Kerala. Audience and critics have been intrigued by the survival drama depicted in the movie.Prithviraj, well-known in the early ’90s, decided to move to the Gulf region in search of job opportunities. However, fate had something else in store for him as he found himself working as a goatherd in the vast desert landscape. Despite the picturesque surroundings, Prithviraj yearned to escape and return to his homeland.

Reflecting on his role in the movie “Aadujeevitham” (The Goat Life), Prithviraj shared his thoughts with ANI. He revealed that when he was approached by director Blessy in 2008 for the film, he was initially perplexed about how to approach his character, Najeeb. The dilemma revolved around whether to portray Najeeb as envisioned by the author Benyamin or as interpreted by Blessy. After much contemplation, both Prithviraj and Blessy agreed that the portrayal should be a fusion of their interpretations, resulting in a unique depiction of Najeeb in the movie.

Prithviraj emphasized the significance of portraying Najeeb as a character that encapsulates the essence of both the novel and Blessy’s vision. This collaborative effort between the actor and the director aimed to bring out a nuanced and authentic portrayal of Najeeb on-screen.
