Yodha, featuring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, experienced a slight decrease in its box office numbers on its first Monday in India. The film’s action-packed narrative has generated ₹19 crore in domestic earnings since its release under the production of Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.
Box office collections for Yodha in India saw the movie making ₹4.1 crore on the first day, followed by ₹5.75 crore on day two and ₹7 crore on day three. The early estimates suggest it made ₹2.15 crore nett on the fourth day, bringing the total domestic earnings to ₹19 crore.
Directed by debutants Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. The storyline follows Arun Katyal, the leader of the Yodha Task Force, as he leads an intense rescue operation.
Recently, fans were surprised when Sidharth Malhotra personally visited a theatre in Mumbai. Videos circulated on social media showing him interacting with fans, taking photos, and meeting Moviegoers after a Yodha screening. Fans enthusiastically embraced Sidharth, demonstrating their love for the film.
Speaking at an event in New Delhi, Sidharth praised Yodha, highlighting its fictitious storyline and the creation of the new Yodha Task Force. He emphasized the varied action performances in the film compared to his role in ‘Shershaah,’ describing the film as highly energetic, dynamic, and featuring some of his best action sequences in the last decade.
