“Kalki Koechlin Reveals How Poetry Acts as Therapeutic Tool on World Poetry Day”

The teaser for Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming action movie Bhaiyya Ji has been released. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, who previously directed the acclaimed ZEE5 courtroom drama Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai with the actor, Bhaiyya Ji is set in Bihar.

In the 2 minute 13 second teaser, the action begins with a group standing over Manoj’s apparently lifeless body, contemplating how to “finish the job”. When one daring individual steps up with a spade, they are all surprised as Manoj suddenly stirs back to life, battered but not beaten. Eventually, he rises, adjusts his moustache, takes hold of the spade, and faces the menacing group.

Bhaiyya Ji marks Manoj Bajpayee’s 100th film and is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Samiksha Oswal, Shael Oswal, Shabana Raza Bajpayee, and Vikram Khakhar. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and written by Deepak Kingrani, the movie promises intense action, a gripping revenge storyline, and heartfelt family connections.

Enthusiastic about the project, Manoj expressed his excitement about his character in Bhaiyya Ji and praised the film’s mainstream entertainment value. According to him, collaborating with Apoorv Singh Karki, known for his distinctive style in Sirf Ek Bands Kaafi Hai, affirmed his decision to also take on a producer role in the movie.

Apoorv, delighted to join forces with Manoj again, elucidated how Bhaiyya Ji aims to depict the raw intensity and intricacies of its characters within a realm of vengeance, emotionally highlighting the strong ties within families. Following the impactful storyline of Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai, Apoorv saw Bhaiyya Ji as an ideal opportunity to explore a different tonal palette in filmmaking, channeled through this compelling narrative.

Don’t miss the premiere of Bhaiyya Ji on May 24.
