Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Tabu Starrer “Crew” Sets Record for Highest Opening Day for Female-Led Film at Worldwide Box Office

The heist comedy film “Crew,” starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, has made an impressive start at the global box office on its first day. The movie has garnered a whopping ₹20.07 crores worldwide on its opening day, setting a new record as the highest opening day grosser for any female-led Hindi film to date.

Ekta Kapoor, one of Crew’s producers, took to Instagram to share the box office numbers, expressing her excitement over the film’s success. She mentioned how this marked the third successful collaboration between her and Kareena Kapoor, following their previous projects “Udta Punjab” and “Veere Di Wedding.”

Kareena Kapoor also expressed her joy on Instagram, sharing her excitement for working on another project with Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. Kriti Sanon joined in, acknowledging the overwhelming love and support they received for Crew, labeling it as the biggest female-led opener in Hindi cinema history worldwide.

In “Crew,” Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti portray flight attendants at Kohinoor Airlines, dealing with the company’s financial troubles. The plot takes a twist when they discover a passenger smuggling gold plates, leading to chaos and unexpected events. Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and features a cameo appearance by Kapil Sharma.

The film is co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, who reunited after their successful project “Veere Di Wedding” in 2018, starring Kareena and Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania. As “Crew” continues to make waves at the box office, fans are in for an exciting ride filled with entertainment and excitement!
