Aaliya shared a glimpse of their 14th wedding anniversary celebration on Monday. The caption on her post expressed joy for “Celebrating 14 years of wedded bliss with my one and only. Anniversary cheers.” The pictures featured Nawazuddin and Aaliya with their children – daughter Shora and son Yaani, followed by a happy photo of Nawazuddin with the kids.
The couple, who grabbed attention in recent months due to a custody battle for their children, faced turmoil when Aaliya publicly criticized Nawazuddin, accusing him and his family of harassment. Aaliya revealed in March 2023 that Nawazuddin had evicted her and their children from their Mumbai home, leading him to file a defamation suit against her.
Despite their previous conflicts, signs of reconciliation emerged after Aaliya disclosed her relationship with a Dubai-based Italian man in June 2023. In an interview with ETimes, she clarified that the new companion was unrelated to her strained marriage with Nawazuddin. Aaliya emphasized her desire for Nawazuddin’s success, mentioning that their divorce case is ongoing. She expressed her relief at moving forward and finding happiness after enduring a tough 19-year journey.
