Sara Ali Khan Shares Future Political Aspirations

Sara Ali Khan is renowned for her candid and unreserved views on her movies and personal life. Despite her easy-going demeanor, the actress recently discussed the possibility of venturing into politics. In a conversation with Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India, Sara was asked about her interest in a political career down the line.

During a rapid-fire session, Sara was questioned about her future plans regarding politics, to which she responded affirmatively. This inclination towards politics ties back to her academic background in history and political science. In a previous interview, she expressed her desire to explore a political career later in life while emphasizing that it is not merely a backup plan. Sara clarified that she is committed to her current path in Bollywood as long as she continues to have opportunities in the industry.

Sara Ali Khan has recently appeared in back-to-back OTT releases in March. She starred in “Murder Mubarak,” a murder mystery directed by Homi Adajania, and “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” a film centered around India’s struggle for independence. “Murder Mubarak” boasts a stellar cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, and more, while “Ae Watan Mere Watan” is helmed by Kannan Iyer and features Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, and others in significant roles.

Up next, Sara will be seen in Anurag Basu’s “Metro… In Dino,” a spiritual sequel to “Life… In a Metro.” The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Sara’s upcoming projects promise a blend of entertainment and compelling storytelling, keeping audiences eagerly anticipating her future endeavors.
