Infinix Note 40 5G Series to be Launched in India with AI-Backed Active Halo Lighting Effect

The Infinix Note 40 5G series is scheduled to be launched worldwide on March 18, although the specific models in the lineup have not been officially confirmed by the company. Based on leaks, it is anticipated that the series will include the Infinix Note 40, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G, and the premium Note 40 Pro+ 5G models. Some of these devices have already been spotted on various certification sites, revealing key specifications. In addition to the global launch, Infinix has also announced that the Note 40 series will be introduced in India.

The company has revealed that the Infinix Note 40 5G series will soon debut in India, but details regarding the specific models and launch timeline for the Indian market are still pending. A teaser on YouTube showcases a handset with a shiny golden finish and a rectangular rear camera module. Infinix has highlighted the AI Active Halo Lighting feature, claiming that this series will be the first in India to offer this functionality.

The Active Halo feature is AI-powered and integrates voice commands and lighting effects for various functions such as incoming calls, notifications, charging, gaming, music playback, and interaction with the Hi Folax voice assistant. By using the wake phrase “Hi Folax” followed by the Active Halo command, users can customize its operations. The Active Halo feature includes three customizable light effects – Lively, Rhythmic, and AI, catering to different user preferences and moods.

While details about the Indian variants are limited, the global models of the Infinix Note 40 series are expected to feature 3D curved AMOLED displays. Additionally, the company has confirmed the MagKit, a magnetic solution for the upcoming Note 40 handsets.
