Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Design Renders, Color Options, and Key Features Revealed Online

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is set to be released soon as a follow-up to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, which was unveiled in April 2023. Leaked renders of the upcoming phone have surfaced, showcasing its design and color options. The report also provides insights into the launch timeline and highlights some key features of the device. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and come with a triple rear camera setup.

The leaked renders of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro reveal three color choices – black, purple, and white with a stone-like pattern. The black and purple variants feature faux leather textures.

The renders display the date April 3 on the lock screen of the phone, suggesting a possible launch date. The report also mentions that the phone may debut in China as the Moto X50 Ultra, which was recently teased. It could also be released in the US under the name Motorola Edge+ (2024).

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro sports a curved display with slim bezels and a centered hole-punch cutout at the top. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side, while the USB Type-C charging port can be found at the bottom. The rear camera module houses three camera sensors and an LED flash unit.

The phone is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture in its triple rear camera setup, along with a 13mm wide-angle camera and a 73mm telephoto shooter offering up to 6x zoom. It is also said to sport a 6.7-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. It could come with a 4,500mAh battery supporting 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. More details about the phone are likely to be revealed closer to its launch.
