OnePlus Ace 3 Pro Expected to Feature Easier LTPO Display, Rapid 100W Charging, and Additional Enhancements

OnePlus Ace 3 was launched earlier this year with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Now, the focus seems to be shifting towards the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. A Chinese tipster has leaked key specifications of the upcoming handset before any official confirmation. The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to be officially unveiled in the third quarter of 2024 and is rumored to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC along with an 8T LTPO display boasting a 1.5K resolution.

According to the leaked information from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device is also rumored to sport an 8T LTPO curved screen with a 1.5K resolution, a metal middle frame, and a glass build.

Scheduled for an official launch in the third quarter of this year, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is speculated to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor and support 100W fast charging. Meanwhile, OnePlus is reportedly working on a new device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, set for release in the fourth quarter, offering advanced features like an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which could possibly be the OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will succeed the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro from last year, which was launched in August 2023 in China. Priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,600), the base model of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro offered 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device came with a 6.74-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 150W SuperVOOC charging.
