The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is all set to debut in China on March 26, alongside the Vivo X Fold 3. The company has officially teased the designs of these upcoming handsets, highlighting them as the “thinnest and lightest” flagship foldable phones to date. Prior to the launch, a Vivo official had hinted at some features of the lineup. Just days before the unveiling, details regarding the RAM and storage options, as well as the pricing of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro model, have surfaced online.
A leak by tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) on X (formerly Twitter) revealed that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come in two variants: 16GB RAM + 512GB storage priced at CNY 13,999 (approximately Rs. 1,61,700) and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage expected to be listed at CNY 14,999 (about Rs. 1,73,200) in China. On the other hand, the vanilla Vivo X Fold 3 is rumored to be priced at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 92,100).
The Vivo X Fold 3 series is anticipated to feature an “Armor Feather” design and will be available in black and white color options. These book-style foldable smartphones are expected to boast SGS five-star anti-drop certification, an IPX8 rating for splash resistance, longer battery life compared to older models, and Vivo’s “Blue Heart” AI system.
Reports suggest that both the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with Android 14-based OriginOS 4 out-of-the-box. The camera systems are said to support optical image stabilization (OIS) and include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope shooter.
The upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 series is anticipated to feature 5,500mAh batteries with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. These handsets are expected to be lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
