The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro was introduced in China on March 21, featuring a Leica-supported 50-megapixel triple rear camera system and dual front cameras. It is available in various RAM and storage options, with four standard colour choices, and three limited-edition custom shades. The highlight of this device is its use of the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset by Qualcomm, making it the first phone globally to launch with this powerful processor. Competing brands are also expected to release models equipped with this same chipset.
The initial price for the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in China begins at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 34,600) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 3,299 (about Rs. 38,100) and CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 41,500), respectively. The phone is currently available for pre-order on the Xiaomi China e-store, with official sales starting from March 26.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is offered in standard colours such as Breeze Blue, Soft Mist Pink, Spring Wild Green, and Starry Black. Additionally, three limited-edition custom colour combinations of black and blue, black and pink, and black and white are available. These unique colour options are said to be more fashionable and provide a classic camera-like aesthetic. Pricing details for these custom colour variants are not currently listed online.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro features a 6.55-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device operates on Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Leica Optics Summilux lens and OIS, another 50-megapixel sensor with a Leica Professional Portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel sensor with a Leica ultra-wide-angle lens. Additionally, it has dual 32-megapixel front cameras.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging. The phone offers 5G connectivity along with various other features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, NFC, and more. The device also includes an infrared sensor and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The standard glass variant measures 157.2mm x 72.77mm x 7.45mm and weighs 179.3g, while the models with glass and leather finish are slightly thicker at 7.75mm and weigh 180.9g.
